I'v always admired Nile Rogers guitar sound - makes be think of a bouncy metallic rubber band!
I personally thought the one in the middle, album # 4 out of 7, "Real People", was the best album they ever did, but the disco was more fluent in the earlier material.

I like Chic and Nile Rodgers, He's down with Dave, and anyone who's like that,gets props from me...However...I hate Steve Savicki.

Dave's true, but far from being about every thing they recorded: stuff like "I want your love" are more like the Rubettes than Led Zeppelin. :D

CHIC - great musicians who wasted their talent on shitty music.

Their 80's projects were much better. Like this one which featured Tony Thompson on drums, with Nile Rodgers producing and Bernard Edwards engineering.

Oh, and a couple of guys named "Taylor" too.....
