Dunno...

Satan is an alias??

That's ludicrous!!

I was at Slawterhouse from the beginning. Matter of fact, a lot of people thought Satan & myself were the mysterious "Keepers", because we were on the site more than they were.

Let's see.........

Some of our webbies started out over there. Conmee and Brownsound1 I'm sure of. Maybe POJO as well?

The Slawterhouse Bug, obviously. Though he posts more at Links these days than he does here.

A lot of the old regulars from those days have since moved on from this online circus or just disappeared entirely, including the so-called "Keepers" themselves (after they had their falling out with Dave)

Man oh man I've forgotten a lot of the folks that were over there. I do remember most everyone listed so far though.

Corrine was another one. Dutch girl if I remember correctly. ;)

Blueeyedmurder was another who I first met there.

Slawterhouse was a lot of fun in the old days...especially before they decided to put up that God awful orange message board.

I used to make the rounds..Slawterhouse, then over to Ford Country, then over to the original DLRND, and then the VHLinks. This site was basically an mp3 site back then.

Hey FORD, what was the guy's name who originally owned the DLRND, and then went to jail for taking money from his grandmother or some shit? He used to have knock down, drag out fights with old Bill O'Neill. :D That's also the first place I ran into our old friend Wayne. :D

That would be Mike Blair. His war with Free Willy was ridiculous, and it spilled over from their own websites onto many of the others that were going at the time, including Slawterhouse and FORD Country. Don't even remember what started those two morons fighting, but they took it to levels of insanity which haven't been seen since. Come to think of it, neither have either one of them, which is probably a good thing.

Let's see...other than those already mentioned, I remember some dude called Peroxide, and there was a chick from a radio station in Arizona that posted there alot, and filled us in on all the VH related rumors and such at the time. That place used to be troll central...somebody always stirring the shit, and flame wars out the ass! I can't remember too many folks from there...I've slept since then!

Yeah, Carol from KDKB... her and the Dutch chick Corrine got mixed up in the D-MAN scam. He was this asshole who claimed to be an "insider" and made up "details" of the "new Van HALEN album" in 2000.

You know, the one they never finished?

That's when I finally left Slawterhouse for good, when I called that fucking asshole out on his bullshit, and people who should have known better tore ME a new asshole over it. Between that and the headaches brought on by the neon orange crap, I didn't really miss it much at that point.

Guess who's doing the evening shift at KDKB these days though??

None other than Mr. Vincent Furnier (http://www.kdkb.com/goout.asp?u=http://www.nightswithalicecooper.com/default.asp) himself......

conmee

Holy shit... D-MAN... I never thought I'd see that alias referenced... lol

SlawterhouseBug I remember... he worked in radio too, I believe, and ended up in Palm Springs or Phoenix radiostation... and I remember that controversy about the gal at the radio station commenting on or airing rumors as fact on the air and getting fired or something to that effect... lots of crying, shouting, fighting, drama... in the good ol' days when we were all alot younger and there was still hope for the future... lol

Back in those days, it really did feel like more of a tight knit small community of DLR/VH fans, before everyone was on broadband, etc... when I'd wait patiently for my next free porn pic to download... lmao

It was strange because it was the official dlr site ..why they called it Slawterhouse?
I really liked the style of it !
They also did the DLRBAND cd art
they were called "2 guys who 2 ads"
They had a website for their design company but they are gone now

I used to get E-mail from Carol, Goldenman, and Coreen. Goldenman was a Kiwi (New Zelander) who was working for an oil company in Kazakistahn. He sent me pictures of him and some Russian chick checking out some gorgiouse canyon over there. I think that guy really was getting more ass than a toilet seat just because he was a foriegner with denero.

Coreene was blonde and very well dressed in the pictures she sent me.

Carol Springer was cool. Remember she has quadriplets and ended up being interviewed by Deborah Norvel for that television show (I forgot the name of it). Carol was the real deal. I mentioned I was going to the KISS concert and she hooked me up with Ted Nugent's manager (Ted was opening for KISS on that tour). I ended up getting a backstage pass and even got an impromtu bow and arrow shooting lesson from the Motor City Madman himself.

The last time I talked to Peroxide we seemed to have a falling out over the US involvement in the middle east.

You can attack our president. I think he's an idiot. You can say going into Iraq was stupid. I agree. I draw the line at when people critisize my country.

He's fallen into the America is evil crowd over there in Europe. Funny, in the Slaweterhouse days the guy was cumming all over himself to get to the US and make it big. The guy was just a class A bullshit artist like many of the Brits tend to be these days.

The whole Slawterhouse Security thing started when somebody broke into the radio station and Carol was there alone at night and had to call the cops. We were her security guards and we then called ourselves Slawterhouse Security. Peroxide came up with the T-Shirt design and Sundog had the shirt printed and sold them at cost to anyone who wanted one.

The Slawterhouse Lounge was the first Classic VH/DLR related message board that I came across when I first got on the internet, and Ford used to advertise Ford Country on there, which is really where it all started for me. I think I found the Army while posting at Ford's, when it first started and there was a Bulletin Board type of message board there back then, before the forums even existed.

I'm a continuing education coordinator at a college, working on my masters degree, being a husband, father, and now... grandfather!!!

For those who don't remember ... I named my son "David Lee" and I got to meet DLR and tell him about it back in 1999. My David Lee is now married, working, going to college, and is a dad.

Good to see some of the old dogs are still around!!

Stay cool

Fuck remembering.....let's make it interesting.

The first poster to make that clip available, in full-length fashion, will win this bootleg VH flag that had devil worship associated with it. Minus the titty mug.

I remember that well. No sound clip though.

I remember "The Money Shot" with the PERFECT DLR mid-air split. Age 45 and he NAILED that split better than ever.

Carol had quads?!?! Geezus, how did I miss that? We used to talk quite a bit on the phone until she got canned from KDKB. She gave me her cell but my head was buried up my ass back then and I lost it.

Who was Ted's mgr then? Was it Howard?

I admit I was a slawterhouse reg back in the day. Damn, those were fun times. I think I started out there as Sully...FORD, do you remember? Now, there is a site needing to make a return! FORD Country rocked! Kenny, Bev, the whole crowd...anyone ever hear from Bev anymore? Wonder what her crazy ass is up to?

I remember you! LMAO!

I always used to wonder if you took that name from the little weasel character in Arnold's movie Commando. One of the best Arnold movies ever BTW.

Those were the days.

X-Files was Scully. Commando was Sully. "Hey Sully". Remember that scene where the black dude walks into the motel room? "Hey Sully"

Sully was one of the best cinematic supporting characters ever.

I remember posting there starting back in '99. not long after Dave's DLR Band album came out, and before that whole 'Tabula Rasa' handjob started circulating.

Oh, WARF, I saved a little for you. Dig the sig. :killer:

The last time I talked to Peroxide we seemed to have a falling out over the US involvement in the middle east.

You can attack our president. I think he's an idiot. You can say going into Iraq was stupid. I agree. I draw the line at when people critisize my country.

He's fallen into the America is evil crowd over there in Europe. Funny, in the Slaweterhouse days the guy was cumming all over himself to get to the US and make it big. The guy was just a class A bullshit artist like many of the Brits tend to be these days.

Just stumbled upon the Slawterhouse thread, so I thought I'd register. I'm delighted to have been so fondly remembered. :yo:

I'm sorry you seem to have taken a discussion I can't remember so much to heart. You can love the USA but not agree with every facet of their Foreign policy I would think.

Yes, it was me that designed the Slawterhouse Security shirt, and remember the forum there very happily indeed.

RedBallJet was a great poster, and there are many like LG and BeautifulGirl plus TDR (Two Day Rule).

Any other members who perhaps remember the gang... perhaps a little more happily than Nitro does. :)

Not sure what I ever bullshitted about mind, I'd love to know. :bump:

I've still got the original design for it... I'll have to dig out the photo of me wearing it... Still got that shirt.. I'll have to dig it out.

I also did a logo for the 'Hotpit BBQ' that was going to happen for the members in the US, but don't remember if that ever happened.

Remember when the site went bright orange and all our retinas exploded? Good times. :D
