Some people like to classify J-Rock in its own separate category even though to me it sounds like another metal album.
Anyone a big fan of Asian metal?
Me, I only own Ezo's first album from 1987 in which I got into their "Kiss of fire" tune. It wasn't played on MTV; and I can't seem to recall it being VH-1. All I remember is the video was followed up with a video from some other one wonder band called Zodiac Mindwarp.
"Flashback heartattack" is another track of Ezo I enjoy.
I've sampled Loudness before, but couldn't get into them.
Can't say twenty years down the road that Gene Simmons' production made the Ezo album catchy; I just dug those two tracks. The rest of the CD isn't bad, but doesn't stand out as much to me.
