Well, he is a master penist and you know how he loves poles.
Yep, Elton wins the Penist pole knees down.

Elton John is great on the piano, but he sucks on the organ.

What ever happened to the greatest rock frontwoman poll?

Was that one even completed?

Keith Emerson.

Saw him a few years ago and was gobsmacked at the speed of fingers when he brought out his grand piano.

But, I think Rick is the best on keyboards.

Emerson.

His version of Gulda`s "Prelude and fugue" is awe inspiring.

i'm surprised savicki isn't in here yet bitching about why liberace isn't on the list, and trying to convince us of his alleged greatness,
whilst only further proving his, and savicki's own gayness!

Emerson's work with ELP as heard on "Tarkus" and Piano Improvisions from their live set WELCOME BACK MY FRIENDS TO THE SHOW THAT NEVER ENDS is proof for me that he's best on keyboards..

Some would argue John Lennon too..
Why ?? The intro piano riff to imagine
is apparently one of *THE* most universally
known and recognised..

Another worth mentioning, Jim Steinman.....
Some great keys on Bat out of Hell !!

And a Dark Horse, Benny from ABBA !! lol....

Had to vote Jerry Lee on that list, he was the
innovator, and is still belting !

Each to their own...

I've always put Rick ahead on keyboards.

But, Emerson ahead on piano.
