I watch it haphazardly. While it IS indeed very good...it's too much like real life for me...

Hell, I have to deal with all that shit at work, I don't wanna come home and deal with it on TV also...

:)

Me? Fuck it, give me Peter Petrelli any day of the week...for now, Monday will do...

WHAT?!!!

are you talking about this replica show?

You do know it's the "softer, american version" of it's british ancestor?

The original "Office" is a genius british show by Ricky Gervais...I don't know why they have to spoil all of these by making lame american versions...

Seinfeld was genius. This replica is not.

I never cared for Seinfeld.

I liked Michael Richards alot more in "UHF".

I saw it in the theater on Opening Night in the Summer of 1989... and several time since. It's a classic. Michael Richards totally stole the show as the retarded janitor lol. My favorite part was Raul's wild kingdom.

Amen.

I watched the American Office as it's called over here, and couldn't watch anymore than the first 5 minutes after seeing how bad it was. Watch the British one, it's much more natural & as it should be.

Ditto.

Look for the British one.

Where as the American one is over the top, like John Lithgowe is in there, the British one was more cringing and "oh, god, what the fuck are you doing?"

I'm glad its doing well in America, but, seriously, look for the British one.

There was one episode where Brent did a dance for Comic Relief, and the fucking thing has PLAUGED Gervais ever since (in fact, I recall him getting booed at Live 8 when he said he wouldn't do it).

Seinfeld is probably the best show on television. I dunno though, my friend is obsessed with the Office. So I'll have to check it out.

Yup.

Repeating someone elses comedy is like starting the joke-telling with "hey this is really funny", it's spoiled fun, even if the story wouldn't change, it's someone elses comedy...
