whatever you do do, I suggesta backup plan. Double majors aren't much more work then a regular major because often times classes in one counts for electives and stuff for the other. I suggest doing some education double major as a backup. You'll never know when it'll come handy. Trust me.

Plus, to save some money and time, take CLEP exams. Around here, they cost $50. If you pass the test, it's one less core class you have to take. ;)

Yeah, it is all downhill from there, dude. You'll be amazed how quickly the next 20 years of your life will go past. Make the most of it, is all the advice I can give. One day you think you have a ton of time to accomplish stuff, and the next you're pushing 40, and that sucks.

Whatever you do ...

DO NOT DRIVE ... AND DO NOT RIDE WITH ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN DRINKING, NOT EVEN A LITTLE.

As my father told me when I went out ...

"Don't get caught ... and don't get her pregnant ... because I'm not helping you with either."

Somewhere, lost it in a turn
Trouble seems to fit him like a glove.
First come, First served, he's serving it back,
Travels light, without a pack, without love.

My advice is get yourself into a 4 year college other than community college and stay there as long as you can. Take courses you find interesting and party like a rockstar and enjoy ALL of what college has to offer.

Girls Girls Girls...

I was always anxious to graduate and get out and work. I look back now and I should spent more time there..

Congrats on graduating.. Now go have some fun..

Your quest right now is to find out who you are and what you like to do. Unless you can answer that don't take life too seriousely.

My advice is take a easy load at college the first year. Enjoy the girls and the parties but be self-disciplined enough to always be looking for what you want out of life.

Everyone will say money but you know, it all revolves around doing what you love. College is getting expensive these days and many degrees don't pay off like they used to. You might want to go to a trade school instead or take the money you would spend on college and start your own business.

It's about being smart and chasing your dream. Not neccessarily college in all cases. Live life dude. The world has changed and many older people just don't get it.

Awesome! That's what my younger sister does (HS)..

Keep those grades up.

She tells me how she got a scholarship to Ohio U..too much partying and her first year suffered. She then transfered to OSU and graduated. She wanted to stay there and get her masters, but that one year at Ohio U screwed her out of getting it @ OSU(grade point average). She finished at Xavier U.

Me?

I took the easy way ...

I joined the Army. :p

But yeah, VH was still very much alive back then...the US fest just finished up b4 graduation...

Ummm, okay...

First, it doesn't say much for the Texas Board of Education that you never learned that " high school " is actually two words, not one long one.

Having said that.....

Why have you not mentioned SIGNING UP FOR IRAQ OR AFGHANISTAN since you spent the better part of the last YEAR bitching and moaning about the "Libs", and how The War was the right thing for your pResident to start?

Let us know which branch you choose. I hear they'll pay for your college as well.

But for some people, that can be really hard to do...

Whatever you do keep the partying to Friday and Saturday. So many people screw themselves out of college because they party every day and drop out and they say they are going to go back later on but they never do because life happens.
