xbox 360 elite or ps3

ive been thinking of which one to get first. i love playing halo 2 multiplayer and now halo 3 is on the way in september so that kind of leans me towards xbox 360. the elite model came out a month ago and has 120gigs. but which one in your opinions has the better graphics. or are they pretty close???

I've heard some really bad reviews for the PS3 and it's current bugs...I'd give Sony a while to iron out the bugs and drop the price before considering it. In the meantime, the 360 will keep you plenty entertained...

Just wait a few years from now, the prices for the ps3 and x-box 360 will be half of what it is today. Just like with the ps2, which I plan on getting someday since it's so cheap.

That and the backward compatibility of the ps2, let's me play games I just can't let go of, such as: allied general, panzer general, tenchu stealth assasins and the original GTA.

Plus I like to play my all time favorite, Ace Combat 4 on the ps2.

I'm a huge fan of PS2 and am on the verge of picking up a PS3.

I understand Sony is doing away with the 20gb version of the PS3 and only selling the 60gb.

thats how i was, i was all about ps2 ad i hated xbox, but then i got my 360 and realized i just hate halo. within the next year i think that 360 will be murdering the ps3 bc many titles that have been exclusivly for sony are going to be release on 360 also, GTA4 and the new Metal Gear Solid for example

I bought a ps3 60gb for my teenage daughters for Christmas. I don't play it much but they play it all the time. No problems at all. Madden is unbelievable!

If you already have a 360, I wouldn't bother with an Elite. When Home comes out for PS3, it's going to vastly improve online.

I played my friends PS3 on his new Samsung 32" HDTV, and it looked much better than my other friends 360 on our Samsung 42" HDTV when we tried it. I always thought that hte 360 was a rushed, half done and not next gen. Kind of proves it when within a year or so they have to bring out another version.

i have both , the ps3 wipes the floor with the 360 imo

exc dvd playback with upscaling , blu ray , all in one , quiet , amazingly slick interface , exc build , looks sexy and plays most ps2 games in hd !!!

plus you can hear yourself thinking rather than the dirge from the tin box 360

yeah it does have the blue ray thing but that is what seems to convince people to get it. so far i see that the ps3 is more of an entertainment thing than a gaming system. almost everyones reason for getting it is the blue ray. not to mention that they are lagging it on games. to be honest the only reason i want the elite is because it is black. and if you can hear the x box your surround sound aint loud enough bro

the only mod they were talking about was the face thing, i havennt heard a a whole system mod. yeah and i know its black also but it looks kinda ugly, i guess they never got around to the silver, white, and chrome one.

im sure you wont. all im saying is which one should i get first. main reason for the xbox is the online and halo 3. story lines of the last two were pretty good but i like the multiplayer mode much better. its what my friends and i play most

which is ok in 1 player
