One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite discs of all time! I almost passed out when I heard Fishbone for the first time. I still have "Truth And Soul" album from 1988! Should be a staple in everyone's music collection.

They'll play a few miles away from my home on Saturday 30th, at a local outdoor music festival.
I wonder how the hell they could be programmed in the 3rd position, as the 3 other groups aren't even known nationwide - I mean in France...

Anyway, I think I'll be up there in the end of this month.

I'm a HUGE Fishbone fan. They should've been a household name along with King's X, Big Wreck, and the Toadies.

P.S. Philip Fisher is now the drummer for Wicked Wisdom.

I thought he was still playing with J Timberlake? Not a bad gig that was...bet he made some cake.

I have 3 fave drummers of all-time...

1. John Bonham
2. Keith Moon
3. Fish

Well, Fish was actually playing with Timberlake before he joined Wicked Wisdom the way it looks. I think he's been doing a lot of studio work, too. He's so well-rounded and can play any style.

BTW, that pic that you linked to...damn, Jada is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Still Stuck In Your Throat" is one solid release that didn't get ANY traction from the whore radio stations.

Shame, because when you think of the bands that Fishbone helped launch...Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, 311, Los Fabulous Cadillacs, No Doubt...you just have to wonder why these "flies in the buttermilk" can't catch a break.

Solid ska/funk/rasta/punk musician professionals that bring it stronger live than they do on their cd releases. If anyone hasn't seen them...YOU NEED TO SEE THEM.
