Two naked people fell to their deaths from this building.
Columbia Police Chief Dean Crisp says the bodies were found by a taxi driver in one of the lanes of the 900 block of Laurel around 5:30 a.m.
Sergeant Florence McCants says they fell 50 to 60 feet from the building. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and died a short time later. Crisp says the victims were found nude.
Police say it was a man and a woman who died. Police say there was no evidence of alcohol or drugs at the scene.
At this point, it appears the two got onto the roof by an adjacent parking garage. That's where officers say they found what they believe are the victim's clothes.
The building where this happened is the Palmetto Armory Building, which houses law offices and an architectural firm.
