I was going through those old Damned videos, and it occured to me that two American punk bands seemed to be most directly influenced by the Damned.

The Misfits picked up a lot from Dave Vanian alone, with the horror vibe, and an obvious influence on Glenn Danzig's singing.

And the Dickies went the other direction, with the same sense of humor that the Damned put into their music.

But there aren't a lot of Misfits videos out there - and no, the NewFits shit does not count, so I went with a Dickies thread this time around. Enjoy, and if you've never heard these guys before, prepare to laugh your ass off.......
