Bad4Good was a heavy metal band formed in 1991 by guitarist Steve Vai. The band was comprised of a quartet of talented teenagers, the oldest of whom was 16. The group was lead by guitarist Thomas McRocklin, bassist Zack Young, drummer Brooks Wackerman, and singer Danny Cooksey. McRocklin had previously appeared in one of Vai's videos ("The Audience Is Listening"), Cooksey had a career as an actor, and Wackerman is the youngest brother of longtime Frank Zappa drummer Chad Wackerman.

Under Vai's guidance, the band released one album in 1992 called Refugee. Despite critical praise, the album was a commercial flop, and the band disbanded shortly after.

Band members

* Danny Cooksey - vocals
* Thomas McRocklin - guitar
* Zack Young - bass guitar
* Brooks Wackerman - drums

Yeah and whomever did the pic was obviously a pedo..:pukes:

Again..They sound like the kiddie version of Skid Row..I guess, because after Nirvana hit, that Skid Row and GN'R were the only Hair Metal bands selling? :confused:

They're not too bad, but nothing special. If anything it's a shame they disbanded because they might have appeal to a younger generation, which would open the door to better stuff I suppose. The guitarist kicks some major ass though.

Great music those kids put out back then. I have that cd! What is missing from YouTube is the MTV video Vai did with them called I believe "Greasy Kids Stuff!" NOT the coolest cd poster! Lil boys with their shirts off! <br>

And they sucked like Skid Row too. I hate Steve VAi even more now. Wasn't Danny Cooksie was on Different Strokes just as they successfully jumped the shark?

LOL. I actually saw these guys play in San Diego. There is a big bar in Pacific Beach and attached to the side is a live concert club. We were drinking at the bar and decided to go into the concert area. They were actually ok. Never heard of them again.

Sadaist-I've been meaning to compliment you on the pics in your sig. Heather Thomas was my all time fave back in the day. That poster is awseome. Had that one on my wall for years. What a piece-cute face, kick ass body-a complete set. Maybe someone can start a thread in the Underground of all those posters of hot chicks back in the 80s. BTW, the other two on the beach are nice too. They should have a poster.

No doubt. I had about 6 different posters of her. She was the only reason I watched The Fall Guy. The chicks today with the great bodies all kinda look the same to me. Heather Thomas had something unique. Maybe that smile with the great cheekbones.
