5 star hotels are a good place to start.

Never been much of a scotch drinker. Then again, I never was much of a Canadian whiskey drinker until my brother-in-law got me started on Crown Royal.

There was a bar in the New York, New York in Vegas called The Brown Derby. They had a kick ass Sinatra impersonator.

Anyway,

We stopped there after seeing King Neil Diamond and ordered 2 glasses JW Blue.

$90.

And I'm not a scotch fan.

Fuck that! I can get about 5 bottles of "Wild Turkey" for that price.

I have one shot of WT and I puke. I tried it again a couple weeks ago, and puked at the bar. This was after about 8 beers and 6 jack and cokes. But I still blame the WT.

I've never had blue.

I drink black label quite a lot, it's as good as most single malts.

You can't compare Wild Turkey with a good scotch. Two entirely different things.

I've lost my taste for bourbons as I've got older but Makers Mark is the best of them IMHO.

Cheers!

actually the Brown Derby was in the MGM Grand... the guy singing Sinatra is one of my best friends, and one of the nicest guys in the world... Bobby Barrett... unfortunately they closed down the very classy Brown Derby to make way for some new trendy hip joint. There seems to be some sort of law here in Vegas that nothing is allowed to be over 10 years old... god forbid we have a little history or culture

anyway, nice to know someone else appreciates DLR and Sinatra both :)
