Someone should invent shoes you can smuggle booze in with. Have a pint in each and a straw that folds out long enough you can take hits. LOL!
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

I saw them on the UK leg of the tour and thought they were phenomenal, they really are an important and innovative band for heavy music.

I bought Aneamia the day it came out in '96 and remember being totally blown away by it, one of the few times an album has really floored me.

The live show was great, but unnerving too: I wasn't really sure how to react to songs that are about Maynards mother being terminally ill or similarly harrowing subjects, you can't really jump arond and go crazy to them.

Tool is art in the truest sense of the word...

The one band I have to see. I've seen A Perfect Circle twice and I like them as much as Tool. I gotta see Tool, though.

Danny Carey is an absolute monster drummer.

Absolutely. And he makes it look easy.

Maynard is a total freak too, he sang with his back to the audience most of the time when I saw Tool, and he was behind a screen during the APC gig...

                    Really?

Sammy Hagar likes Tool? That's funny as fuck.

I didn't think that Spam would have the attention span to get into a Tool record, I imagine thinking "there are no songs about love here, this is not for me....".

I am going to see Tool on Wed night here in NJ at the PNC Arts Center, can't wait!

I first saw Tool in 1993 on the second stage of Lollapalooza, I not seen them next til 2001 in Philly, and in 2002 in Long Island, NY. I saw A Perfect Circle in 2000 in Asbury Park, then after the show we went to see Atomic Bithwax at the Brighton Bar in Long Branch!!

Saw Tool last night - fuckin' wow!

It must only be 6-9 months since I last saw them and they staggered me then, and put on the most unique performance I'd ever seen in an arena.

But last night was something else. They were playing a big club, so it was a little more intimate, and the band sounded even more powerful. I was worried that it would be a very similar setlist, but that wasn't the case.

I spent the best part of 1.5 hours with my jaw on the floor experiencing nearly every possible emotion. Powerful, loud, clear, amazing visuals, intense and at some points un-nerving.

Music needs more bands like this.
