Outsourcing is also a national security issue. Timken bearing has been in business in the same location for a century. They are moving their bearing manufacturing to China. Timken has been the number one supplier of bearings in the US for decades.

The problem is the manufacturing equipment is shipped overseas and new people trained. What is left in the US is an empty building and layed off workers. Sure they can get another job being a nurse or a pharmacist but these occupations will also fill up and they do little to shrink the trade defficite or keep the US competative in the world's manufacturing market.

You can't do shit without steel or bearings. What happens if China becomes a bully? They have all our manufacturing equipment with people who know how to run it while we don't have shit and half the graduates out of our schools are social workers who can't replace a light bulb. I know, I used to lease office space to them and they are dumb as shit.

I agree. But also a working America is a good America. Livable Wages for Hard Working American Families.

There is huge lack of Working peoples rights in America too. Most Working families can just about manage to pay their bills.

The cost of Health Insurance for Working Class American Families is crippling the Working Class American people.

One reason I got out of the real estate business was we couldn't find good workers. My friends in California have a large hispanic base of cheap labor, here we don't. My wife has a friend who sold their resturaunt because of a lack of people who gave a shit. The teens nowadays don't want to work. It scares me. I had a long list of shitty/dirty jobs from working on a fishing boat to demolition to relining industrial furnaces. Most of the plants I worked in are gone now. Along with them, the capacity to manufacture elemental phosphorus and steel. It was dirty, stunk, and hard work but I made enough in the summer to pay for housing and tuition for the school year. I graduated debt. free. Now kids roll out of college with tens of thousands of dollars of debt and no work ethic and no appreciation of a clean job.

America has become dumbed down lazy and I'm afraid we are past fixing any of it. In my oppinion the dollar won't hold out as an acceptable currency much longer and the US as we know it will be gone in 40 years splitting into different countries. I think the US is done for.

People should be rioting now but they are too lazy and dumb. The politicians have them passified. One reason guys like Dick Chenney think they can get away with anything and say they aren't part of the Executive Branch. They think we are dumb and maybe they are right.
