Vince Neil performed a kick ass show last night at the Hard Rock Casino in BIloxi, MS. I was able to film ALL of "Live Wire" (set opener) and just under half of "Red Hot" before I was asked (very nicely I might add) by Security to stop filming. Here's the links:

Glad you enjoyed yourself.

He, Quiet Riot, and Slaughter are playing in Gnashville within the next couple of weeks or so.

I will be absolutely overjoyed to MISS them (though Slaughter is not that bad).

We also met Vince at a Tequila signing and he was actually very cool and was "fit" looking as well. Slaughter wasn't bad...Mark jumped in the crowd and they did a kick ass cover of "Heaven And Hell" that I'm sure half the fucking place didn't even know what it was. Also, Slaughter's guitarist pulls double duty playing for Vince as well.

Quiet Riot will be playing here in September. One night they'll be playing at Keesler Air Force Base (Spinal Tap anyone?) and the next night at the Hard Rock.

Glad you had a good time.

In the clip you posted, Vince is looking better than he did a couple of years ago. Did his voice hold up?

I wonder if The Crue are ever going to record the new album that they keep promising us?

As for Slaughter, can't say that I was ever much of a fan. I'm guessing that they played "Up all night" and "Fly to the Angels" or whatever it was called?

Yeah, as I said we met Vince yesterday and he is really trimmed down and looking fit. Also, he was completely sober on stage (drinking only water) and his voice was really good. True, being a huge fan of Vince and Motley I'm going to give him props where deserved and if he has an off night I'm more than willing to say it was "shitty"...but last night was a really good show.

Slaughter played all the hits along with "Eye To Eye" and "Burning Bridges" and a couple other obscurities. They opened with "The Wild Life."

I saw Vince Neil opening up for VH in '93. I know this was the Sammy era, but I was too you to see the original line up. This was the one and only time I have seen VH. I need to see the original classic line up damn it! Anyways Vince did a good job as an opening band. I also saw him do a one off of Live Wire with the Aphrodisiacs in Vegas back in '96. He was hanging out in the club and he jumped up on stage and he asked the guys which Crue song they wanted to do and they did Live Wire. He knows how to work a crowd.

He's definitely an entertainer. I can appreciate that.
