We`re all pretty much agreed that "Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules" are bona fide Sabbath classics but how about "Dehumanizer"?

I put it on at a friend`s house the other night and it wasn`t popular even though I always enjoyed it.

How `bout you?

I like this CD.
I met Tony Iommi backstage at Donington Monsters Of Rock back in 92 (My boyfriend worked at the printers that pressed up all the passes....)
Tony told me that Cozy was meant to drum on this CD but had to pull out because he fell of his horse and it then fell on top of him (ouch!).

This turns out to be true as i have since got a bootleg CD will the cozy drum tracks. Tony said that there had been friction between Ronnie & Cozy (friction from Rainbow days,)

Anyway i digress all in all I rate this CD as it came out at a time when grunge was all the rage and i hated 95% of all grunge so this was a welcome release..

Thanks Mr Badguy i'm gonna play this cd now

Dehumanizer ROCKS. The only album worthy of the name "Black Sabbath" between 1984 and 1997.

Under-rated because it was under-promoted. By the time most people realized this version of the band was back together, they had already broken up again.

I love that TV Crime video, as far as the concept of the video itself goes. But it has absolutely nothing to do with the song, which is actually about televangelism.

I've always enjoyed the album, but it's not in the same leage as "Mob Rules" or "Heaven and Hell".

It's a good solid, metal album packed full of great riffs and awesome vocals, as you'd expect: I love the power of it, the booming intensity as it comes out of the speakers. I think that the first half in particular is exceptional, but it tails off slightly after that.

However, I actaully think that the new tunes on the "Best of The Dio Years" are as good as anyhting on that album. I'd like to see Dio and Sabbath keep recording together.

I like it...but not as much as "Mob Rules" and particularly "Heaven and Hell".

But I don't see it as a disappointing effort. By far.

Your post is the world's greatest proof of reincarnation; no one could get that dumb in just one lifetime.

I like it a lot. I rate it even better than some Ozzy's albums with Sabbath

I suppose there is a very strong case for it being better than Never Say Die.....

I have to admit, I got it from Columbia house, listened to it maybe once, and off it went to the used CD store.

I wish I liked the Heaven and Hell era, but for me Sabbath ended right around Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

I dig Tommy, but I hate all the 80s-90s metal tones.
