Last years shows varied between ho hum and great.
On the ho-hum side, I walked out on both Steve Vai AND Whangbar Guitarstring after realizing 30 minutes into each of their sets that I had wasted my money buying a ticket.
They have nothing new to offer.
But in the fall of last year, I saw a show where my attention was seriously riveted to the band.
And that was Frank Marino and crew.
