Nugent threatens to kill

This should expose Repubs as being dangerous.

GunGuys.com is urgently demanding that the National Rifle Association immediately remove Ted Nugent from his position as a board member of the NRA after Nugent threatened United States Senators and Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

This is the latest in a series of unacceptable extremist rhetoric -- and in this case a threat against the life of U.S. Senators -- from NRA role model and activist, Ted Nugent.

    According to Rolling Stone magazine:

Renegade right-winger Ted Nugent recently went on a vicious onstage rant in which he threatened the lives of Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Decked out in full-on camouflage hunting gear, Nugent wielded two machine guns while raging, “Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary,” he continued. “You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.” Nugent summed up his eloquent speech by screaming “freedom!”

This isn’t the first time Nugent has been caught spewing hatred. Last January, the guitarist caused a scandal for Republican Texas governor Rick Perry when he, among other abhorrent comments, wore a Confederate flag shirt and insulted immigrants at Perry’s inauguration event. In July, Nugent was quoted in a Wall Street Journal story blaming “stoned, dirty, stinky hippies” for “rising rates of divorce, high school drop-outs, drug use, abortion, sexual diseases and crime, not to mention the exponential expansion of government and taxes.”

Gun Guys.com will have more to say about this vile and disturbing rhetoric from the National Rifle Association soon. But for now, it is incumbent on the NRA to forcefully and categorically distance itself from its board member, Ted Nugent, by demanding his immediate resignation from the board of directors.

Second, Gun Guys.com is calling on the NRA to apologize both to Senators Obama and Clinton and pledge to disavow all forms of hate speech and threats to political candidates from individuals affiliated -- in this case as a member of its governing body -- with the National Rifle Association.

In the 2000 presidential election campaign, Charlton Heston, then head of the NRA, called for the lynching of Al Gore during a Michigan campaign rally for George W. Bush.

The NRA's failure to immediately remove Ted Nugent from the NRA's board will signal its complicity in these contintued threats and vile rhetoric

Talk about not being able to debate properly!

Nothin' new! He has also said the same for Bill Clinton,Jesse Jackson,Al Sharpton...The Nuge is the only one that would ever vocalize it! I have seen him twice over the past two years, opening for KISS,then solo and both times the shows lacked because of his political rambling, and about republicans being dangerous? yeah, same can be said for either party...

I don't know what Ted's problem is. He does have the capability to be a very nice guy but he can be a huge asshole too. But that is exactly what his wife Sheman said and he's lucky to still have her because he cheated on her.

I've met Ted's son Rocco. A very normal kid who shakes his head when some of his dad's antics are mentioned.

I'm tottaly for individual freedom. I don't want socialism and I don't trust the govt. but the far right have proven they aren't for individual freedom. Some Democrats believe in individual freedom as well.

Ted has burned his bridges and continues to burn them. He would be a lot bigger in the hunting industry but he freaks those people out as well. The NRA is seeing he as a liability. Maybe they should get Hulk Hogan as a spokesman because I notice he likes to shoot variouse types of firearms on his show. There's plenty of other people than Ted who hunt and own firearms.

Holy hell. What did Obamba do? He wants to invade Pakistahn and Hillary supported Bush on the Iraq invasion. Not to mention she forgave her adulterouse husband like Ted's wife forgave him for getting some tail on the side.

Take a look in the mirror you idiot!

The Detroit Madman is chasing everyone away like he always has. I notice Hulk Hogan likes to shoot guns, the NRA can have him as a spokesman. LOL!

Nugent is a nut job. Why anyone takes this guy seriously is beyond me. He's just trying to get publicity right now because of his new album.

Isn't there a charge for public indecency that would apply not only for weilding guns, but for his dress alone?

He just threatened two Presidential candidates. If a guy can go to prison for making a vague joke about a "burning bush", then Ted SHOULD be in deep deep shit right about now.

I say SHOULD be. Because right wingers seem to be exempt from this sort of thing. Jesse Helms openly threatened President Clinton's life from the fucking senate floor in the 90's, while convicted felon and certified BCE lunatic G. Gordon Liddy was advising his extremist radio audience how to shoot federal agents in the head with assault rifles.

Nugent won't see a single badge flashed his way unless he threatens a Repuke candidate.

Threatening to kill US Senators, Congressmen, or the President is a felony. Some T-Shirt printer got in trouble for printing Ted Kennedy inside of target rings. If it's someone like Osama Bin Ladden that's ok but if it's Hillary Clinton or President Bush, you can go to jail on felony charges.

I've met G. Gordon Liddy personally. I was not impressed. He's a tottal horn dog with no class hitting on the women around him. Why his wife has stuck by him over all these years is beyond me.

Like Nugent, you see the potential but they live in this crazy fog that overtakes them.

Right. Swap the names out to any of the criminals you worship. You would be calling the authorities yourself screaming for a lynch mob.
