Sometimes it really pays to be a woman.

I got a recipe for short ribs that got me laid last night. LOL!

2.5 lbs of short ribs
1 small onion cut up in quarters
1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
1/4 cup of honey
1 T of dark mustard

Cook in crock pot on high for 4 hours.

Best shit I've eaten in a while. Hubby's too obviously!

:D

Sounds good Elly. Might have to get some crock pot action going tomorrow afternoon myself.

Congrats on your booty call.
VanHalenette just has to open a package of crackers and I'm there.:sex: :hitch:

As far as I'm concerned, I get better chances of getting laid if I DON'T cook! :o

I don't cook or prepare meals (hubby eats out for work and we eat very differently)... But soon, I will have to feed my son 3 balanced meals a day with all 4 groups, snacks, lunches etc...

It's gonna be a challenge for me to get organized with the groceries and recipes... I've never done it!

Now I hear a lot about this crock pot business...
My sister puts stuff in her's in the morning before work, it cooks all day and when she comes back... it's all ready!

What's the difference between that and a regular oven?
Is it one of those things that can just explode in your face if you don't open it the right way (like a "presto")?

Maybe I gotta get into that... it might just become my best friend?

:D Just as quite a lot of women, don't you worry, BG. ;)
Cooking, I mean Cooking, is men's field. That is, when they bother setting to it.
(think of the proportion of male/female chefs :p)

I'll try Elly's recipe, which sounds great and... because of the extra implication too! :D

I have many other (more important) talents and tricks up my sleeve to keep the man happy! :p

My Mother and Grandmother used to say; "Get him by the stomach and he's yours..."
Well... sorry Mama, but I hold him by somethin'else...!!!

I have an offset smoker. 10 pounds of primo Missouri charcoal. A handful of chipped Jack Daniel's whiskey barrel wood. Marinate the ribs overnight (I use variouse wet and dry rubs). Put a pan of apple juice in the smoker. Put the ribs slabs in and let them go low and slow for 5 hours at 180 degrees F. Grab the ribs with the tongs and if they sag enough them things are done. Smother them with Sweet Baby Rays and let them set a bit. Actually they are better the next day so I do up a whole bunch and have a few days worth to eat.

Then hopefully I can put my pork in a different kind of oven! LOL!

My mother used to make that! :)
It was the only meal (with meat) that I could actually eat without "crying"...

When pregnant, my dietetist strongly advised me to eat a little bit of red meat, so I did.
That recipe saved my life!
(Somtimes, I substituted the Barbic. sauce for that fake M.S.G. hot taco powder...)

Same here...(Blondie, I swear I think you're like my long lost twin or somethin')

Thank God Tiki doesn't mind cooking for himself as I do not cook much and he and I eat nothing alike. Hell, most of my food doesn't even involve cooking.

It will be a very big challenge to feed your baby as he grows. I've learned how to incorporate all the foods necessary for my daughter to get all the recommended daily allowances. I'm pretty religious about feeding her right, but it wasn't easy, especially since I don't eat meat.

Sure am glad the old adage of the way to a man's heart is through his stomach is bullshit. I'd be fucked. And as far as feeding my guy, I got something he can eathttp://smiliestation.de/smileys/Sex/38.gif (http://www.cocktails-island.de/)
