I'm Voting For Ron Paul

I decided this morning, in a moment of clarity, and after discussing issues with you fine folks here the last few days, to put my money where my mouth is (instead of my foot for a change).

I will be voting for Ron Paul in the New Hampshire primary and will support his candidacy for President.

I've read up on the good Representative from Texas and admire him for his views and morals, and his ethics. He's truly one of those people who are in politics to help others and not himself.

I've also decided to put my money out there literally as well. Ron's going to be the only one who I contribute monetarily to, and will do so during the campaign. I've already started. Now I just need that bumper sticker for the back of my gas-guzzling SUV.

Republicans in King County are usually the corporatist type, and the majority of those from the rest of the state are religious reichers.

"Traditional Republicans" in this state pretty much ceased to exist in the 1990's. Sam Reed, current secretary of state being the one remaining exception.

Words of Dr. Paul on the issue of American Independence and Sovereignty...

So called free trade deals and world governmental organizations like the International Criminal Court (ICC), NAFTA, GATT, WTO, and CAFTA are a threat to our independence as a nation. They transfer power from our government to unelected foreign elites.

The ICC wants to try our soldiers as war criminals. Both the WTO and CAFTA could force Americans to get a doctor’s prescription to take herbs and vitamins. Alternative treatments could be banned.

The WTO has forced Congress to change our laws, yet we still face trade wars. Today, France is threatening to have U.S. goods taxed throughout Europe. If anything, the WTO makes trade relations worse by giving foreign competitors a new way to attack U.S. jobs.

NAFTA’s superhighway is just one part of a plan to erase the borders between the U.S. and Mexico, called the North American Union. This spawn of powerful special interests, would create a single nation out of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with a new unelected bureaucracy and money system. Forget about controlling immigration under this scheme.

And a free America, with limited, constitutional government, would be gone forever.

Let’s not forget the UN. It wants to impose a direct tax on us. I successfully fought this move in Congress last year, but if we are going to stop ongoing attempts of this world government body to tax us, we will need leadership from the White House.

We must withdraw from any organizations and trade deals that infringe upon the freedom and independence of the United States of America.

In all seriousness, I guarantee that Hillary “The Whore of Babylon” Clinton will be our next president. She will run against Newt “The 33rd Degree Freemason”Gingrich. So no matter who wins, the agenda will be advanced further. Since I’m guaranteeing that Hillary will win, if I’m wrong, I’ll leave this site. I’m sure that would make a lot of people around here happy. And no goodbye threads either.

You know what, I realized that Ron Paul really speaks to my values, and that I've been hoodwinked by my own party for the last seven years. George W. Bush let me down, and I argued for him for years and years here, and he let me down, and all of the other clowns in Congress.

I'm tired of it, and that's another reason I'm voting for Dr. Paul. I put self-imposed regulations on my own behavior by saying I would only vote for somebody 'that has a chance'. Nonsense. That just keeps the machine rolling. It's time for a change!
