As you may or may not be aware, Sweden is not a state in the United States
of America. Sweden is a country in northern Europe.
Unless you figured it out by now, US law does not apply here.
For your information, no Swedish law is being violated.

Please be assured that any further contact with us, regardless of medium,
will result in
a) a suit being filed for harassment
b) a formal complaint lodged with the bar of your legal counsel, for
sending frivolous legal threats.

It is the opinion of us and our lawyers that you are ....... morons, and
that you should please go sodomize yourself with retractable batons.

Please also note that your e-mail and letter will be published in full on
http://www.thepiratebay.org.

Go fuck yourself.

Polite as usual,
anakata

LMFAO! :D

I've read that Demonoid.org was drummed out of the Netherlands, and Torrentspy has become a bunch of pussies. It's nice to see these guys fight back. Especially since a lot in the film industry are using illegal methods such as hacking and spyware to gather info.

And it's just fucking silly really. The NY Times published an article over the summer that said only about 2% of people actually rip and copy movies and the pirated copy film industry is virtually non-existed in North America...

Hey if a movie is that good, people will want to actually buy the thing.

I know I feel that way.

Who wants to fuck with a rip that someone has encoded with unknown codecs, and forcing everyone to waste time converting to mpg and burning to disc?

The quality will usually be nowhere near what it would be if I paid 10-20 bucks (OMG!! A FORTUNE! ) for a factory-produced DVD.

If I truly dig the movie, I will buy it.

My main thing is downloading live concert boots.

Which would be the next target.

And I concur with the movie quality thoughts...

Agreed.

I refuse to waste drive space on movies. I prefer to fill it with lossless boots anyday....

I'll download a movie if I can get a good copy in pre-release, that is before it's in theaters, as I did with Michael Moore's Sicko.

I don't feel the least bit guilty in doing so, because my early reviews of the movie made a lot of people want to check it out for themselves, and most of them did so in the theater, as did I. And the day the DVD is released, that official copy will be on my shelf right next to Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine.

The only other allegedly "commerical" DVD I would download would be something like any of the Rolling Stones old concert films such as "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Rolling Stones" from the 1972 tour or "Let's Spend The Night Together" from the 81 tour. And if I ever find U2 Live at Red Rocks online, I'll be downloading that as well. It's ridiculous that the asshole media corporations will sit on classics like this and NOT release them properly and then condemn the fans who trade them amongst themselves.

Fuck corporatist fascism, in any of its forms.
