I met Hank at an exhibition game at least 30 years ago! My dad built a wall unit for Davey Johnson back then too. It was cool in that it had a secret room behind it for putting away his trophies while he was out of town. On of those was his Golden Glove award. He signed an 8 x 10 with a personal note to my dad. It's a picture of him playing second base getting someone out in some big game. Maybe someone can refresh me on this. I'll have to ask my dad! Was the photo taken when he played for Cincinatti or Philly?

Well it's a tie between two, Nolan Ryan 1994 and the entire 1987 lineup of the Detroit Tigers.

Ah, where do you live?

I used to have a shitload of cards in the $100-200 range...I had them all in a wooden box in screw-downs...when I moved out of my last appartment

I fucking left the box there.

I didnt realize it until about 7-8 months went by and I went looking for my Ray Bourque Topps rookie (UNSCRATCHED), my Lemieux 2nd year O-Pee-Chee, my 65 Topps Sandy Koufax, etc, etc...

I still have nightmares.

I have a big box full of baseball cards dating back to 1987, when I started collecting. My best card is probably a Barry Bonds 1987 Topps second year card, and I have several other Bonds cards, as well as several A-Rod cards, maybe even a rookie in there somewhere, and a page or two of Nolan Ryan cards in my folder.

I probably had some great cards, late '60's to early '70's, when I was a little guy....

That's past tense, they're long gone....

I would guess that my best card now is the '89 Upper Deck Griffey Jr. rookie....
