Granted, you'd have to remember this campy show and their snappy musical romps but more specifically the background vocals for these examples to make sense.

no, I'm not busting on these bands, Kath era Chicago was a really hot band and I always loved the guess who but these background singers in a box always left me wondering if it was the same people who Shirley Jones and Susan Dey lip-synched over back in the day .

Actually, the backgrounds on the Chicago song were done by none other than The Beach Boys.

Or should I say, whomever was posing as the Beach Boys in 1973.

They also did the backgrounds on Elton John's "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" around the same time.

He's not, in all honesty; much of REO's early era (obviously their best era) came from him. Giving credit where credit's due, Kevin Cronin is a pretty damn good rhythm guitarist as well...

This one is amazingly Partridge-like. Especially the lame-assed sheeplike sing along chorus at the end.......

You're preachin' to the choir bro. There's a dog ear'd "You Get What You Play For" sitting somewhere in the stacks. Richrath and Cronin destroy on that Riverside Avenue number!!
