I was lucky enough to catch the 1st night of the Ween tour last week. 2 days after the Mighty Van Halen. It was a great week and I am almost completely recouped from it. Almost......

This is the smallest venue they will play on the tour. The band gets better with each passing tour and album. There is so much more to these guys music than Chocolate and Cheese.

Here is a link to the review I wrote (that was heavily edited), a link to the recording of the show, and a bunch of pics from the show.

I love that early stuff. Axis: Bold as Boognish and Craters From the Sac are cool albums too.

I had to take a few days off work to recoupe. I'm still not caught up on sleep. I'd do it all again though.

Ween is an amazing band, what songwriting skills they have!!
Chocolate & Cheese, White Pepper and The Mollusk are albums really worth checking out if you havenīt heard their music before. Their country album is also amazing, their lyrics are really funny!
They played the day before Dave at the Bumbershoot festival in Seattle in 2001. Anyone see that gig? I was there to witness 2 great shows, Ween & DLR

I have the Chocolate & Cheese CD, but I never listened to it. I'll give it a spin tomorrow at work.

I think it was the cover that sold me... :D
