Not really one for horror movies...I find them frustrating.

Like why do the stupid twats never turn the light on?

But...and I suppose they're SORTA horror movies...

Rocky Horror Picture Show
Young Frankenstein
An American Werewolf in London

"Horror Express"

Saw it when I was five years old. Scared the shit out of me, but I couldn't turn it off.

Sun is down and the kids are out.

Just had a soccer player, witch, rock star, and Darth Vader.

I asked the kid who he was supposed to be and he said, "I'm a Rocker!"
I stuffed that kids bag full of goodies.

One of these little people come here as Eddie or Dave and I'm hooking that little sucker UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have fixed a bike, skateboard, scooter, etc... for most of these kids over the last three years. Most of them tonight have asked for a fly trap plant before they even said, "Trick or Treat." ( Long story short: they saw my small collection of plants in the front yard when we moved in and they ask me for another plant all the time now) Watching them grow up and be different things for halloween is pretty cool.

It's the early '70's and I'm spending the night at grandmas house: indeed, a place where I could stay up late and watch a horror movie while grandma is sleeping.

Ran into grandmas room and under the covers with her several times that night.

After explaining to grandma what I was doing and why I was scared shitless that first time, she put up with me until that flick was over. I did not sleep that night, but it's a great memory.

Hostel is a great horror movie. Part of the appeal to me is that it isn't out of the realm of possibilty, the plot of that movie.
