My favourite lineup :Travers , Thrall , Cowling , Aldridge.

These fuckers could really throw it down . Travers and Thrall were one dangerous duo.

Probably one of the most underrated gunslingin guitar duo's in music.

Hav'nt seen too much from this lineup....

Enjoy!;)

You know it! I said it before I'll say it again! I was there when they recorded this album! Seen that line up perform many times! Those were some kick ass years there now! Keg parties with pat headlining! Bombastic summers!

You lucky dogs! PTB had a huge following in the southern states.
I did catch him a couple of times in the 80's. He was never able to top this lineup. Regardless , the shows kicked ass.....

Hmm, a reunion tour of this lineup would be KILLER !!!

Agree there, a reunion would be excellent.

I thought that Black Pearl was a good album too.

I still use the live Heat in the Street solo as a picking warmup exercise.
Without the Delay.

I have seen Pat about a dozen times over the years. Every type of venue from stadiums to clubs. By the late 80s when Pat was doing club tours, my best friend's band opened for them twice. Once, Pat showed up the night before HIS gig and jammed with my friend on Whole Lotta Love. During the song, Pat leaned over to my friend and said "You are kicking my ass!!".

My friend was on cloud nine for weeks after that.

Six months later on the same tour, I saw them after I had moved to LA. They played at a club in the City Of Industry, CA.

The album cover (before AND after photos) from Puttin' It Straight always cracked me the fuck up! :D
