Good.

Blew several chances to see them when they were together, but will make a real attempt to catch them this summer.

Have no interest in Velvet Revolver.

SW should rejoin STP, full-time.

Suppose that would leave Slash and Duff free to hook back up with Rose again, but honestly I couldn't give two shits about a GnR reunion.

I would like for Scott to get back with STP and Slash and Duff to put the differences aside and reform the true GnR

A STP reunion , I would go , never saw them live. Hope this isn't the end of Velvet Revolver. And if GNR do get together I hope it would include Izzy & Steven Popcorn Adler if he's able to play.

Ray Luzier is currently filling in with the band Korn on their tour of Europe.

I hope that they do a show or two over here, although I doubt that they will. They really toured Europe back in the day that much.

I think VR is nearing its end.

I've never slammed Weiland, or VR. Love 'em both to bits.

Been listeing to STP since '94, when I was 12.

I can understand why Weiland isn't some people's thing, but you can't please everyone. When they were on form, STP were exceptional...

Scott Weiland and the rest of Velvet Revolver flat-out sucked at the RnRHoF and VR is a mediocre rock band.

However, I've always dug STP and said so.

Agreed. Though I do dig a few VR songs, they can't touch STP.

He deserved every bit of the crap he got for pulling that shit, but that would've never happened with STP.

He's quite limited in his vocal range, true...but he comes up with some briliant ways to work with what he's got with STP. That, and when he wants to be, he's the best (other) frontman out there currently I can think of...
Saw 'em at Universal here, and the way the girls were screaming over his every move was like a fucking Beatles movie or something. Surreal.
Not comparing the two in any other way, but the only other dude I can think of off the top of my head that I've personally seen have a crowd of thousands in the palm of their hand like that.....is DAVE.

Personally, I think he worships at the Altar of DLR and David Bowie anyway...think about it...;)

Its a shame Velvet Revolver appears to be history, they had a good run in an era where the masses hate hard rock music. Too bad GnR won't get back together since Axl is such a stubborn asshole.

Oh well, STP was a good band and they are great live, saw them once in 1999 or 2000.

Weiland is currently in re-hab. I'm not optimistic that VR will make their March UK tour, which I have tickets for....

Neither Velvet Revolver nor GnR can touch STP on a musical level, though...in my opinion, at least.

I love both GnR and STP, but the original GnR were incredible. Thats why I was so happy when Slash/Duff got Weiland to make Velvet Revolver. 2 of my favorite bands getting together. Fun while it lasted.

I can't see STP staying together for very long though, Weiland has a history of drug abuse. Maybe they can get an album out of this. Time will tell.

I kinda thought that was the deal with this anyway, a tour and perhaps a new album...

If it's anything like the rest of their catalog, it will be stellar...
