Well this really does not pose any real threat this late in his game. To me he just lost his drive when Miami got the rings seasons back. His agility is long gone and the Gasol/Bynum combo is untouchable.

The team benefiting from the trade is only Miami as it freed his giant salary cap to allow them ways to rebalance.

My real issue with Shaq comes from his shitty attitude towards LA when he left. He had reason to be pissed at management but not at the town supporters who he supposively adored. No matter how his dominance mattered in Laker lore there really was no excuse for his lack of discipline and conditioning. Had that been in check 5 rings at least. Sitting at Staples watching him choke free-throws always rose the blood presure.

Let's see if he takes cheap shots at Nash for being so instrumental to the Suns success. Shaq is more dramatic than a Britney grocery run.

Shaq is washed up, and needs to retire. He is but a shell of his former self, and will not help the Suns win an NBA title. This is about like when Hakeem Olajuwon was traded to the Toronto Raptors in the twilight of his career...Shaq will be as much of a factor as that. Miami definitely got the better end of that deal, as Marion is still fairly young, and a great player that hasn't yet hit his prime. Barring any major injuries, he has probably 5 more good years left in him, whereas, Shaq is already past his prime and should have already retired. Stupid trade for Phoenix.
