Comedy, drama, doc, name whatever it is or was.
It's been a long time since I've seen it, but of course Trainspotting was excellent. That and Schindler's list.......

Up in Smoke is my all-time favorite. Is there a funnier scene than this?

I sooo agree.
I saw Cheech & Chong in Atlanta a couple of months back. I NEVER thought I would get to see them. It was pretty cool.

Rosemary's Baby.
How fucked up did I have to be to fuck Mia Farrow? http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/teufel/d070.gif
Ordinarily she wouldn't even raise the Third Horn to half-mast.

Other than the Cheech and Chong movies and Scarface there are a few faves for me:
This one includes Bump & Grind in the soundtrack!

Excellent mentions so far. I LOVE Fear and Loathing. Fantastic!
Newer one that had me laughing hard was Smiley Face. I fell in love with Anna Faris.

Less Than Zero is a great movie with Dave in the soundtrack !! Everything mentioned so far is worth a look. But for me Boogie Night's tops the list for most fucked up.

It was Robert Downey Jr's "rehearsal" for what would happen a few years later in his real life.
Hell of a soundtrack though, including Glenn Danzig's best impersonation of the 1969 Memphis era Elvis Presley.....

(Credited to "Glenn Danzig and the Power & Fury Orchestra", but it's essentially the original "Danzig" lineup, with a studio bass player filling in for Eerie Von, because he got into a fight with Rick Rubin over the bass part he came up with for the song.)
