He'll accomplish more in Obama's first term than ol' B.O. hisself!

You must really be bummed out about the new Repuke party chairman, aren't you?

Sad time for racists. I didn't even know who this guy was.... I thought they were saying The Bangles bass player was the new RNC chair, and that upset me for a second, because I was sure they were all Democrats.

Obama proves you can just say a bunch a shit, be black, and suddenly the old school starts dropping out of the picture like they smelled a shit from a Wind of Change.

Well, mine is the only one that isn't racist bullshit, so I'll elaborate....

The Republican party elected an African American chairman today named Michael Steele. He is NOT the Bangles bass player, but he was a former governor of Maryland, apparently.

You can draw your own conclusion as to what the party's motivations were to do make such a selection, but my only observation is that it's odd that they never thought of this before now. ;)

I already knew that. I think Michael Savage or someone on the radio told me...That still doesn't clear up this thread...

But I don't really think Steele was chosen due to his skin color...If so, what was the secret reason on choosing Condoleezza Rice as Secretary of State ??

BTW, Condi sure doesn't look 55 years of age, which I discovered while making sure how to spell her name...

Considering the thread starter as well as what usually passes for witty political thought around here at times, I really expected to see a video of a fellow in a toll booth on the turnpike. http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/smileys/free-ashamed-smileys-721.gif (http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/Free-Ashamed-Smileys/)

Here's a hint.......

When your previous employer, Chevron-Texaco, names a goddamn oil tanker after you, that pretty much guarantees you a slot in a BCE cabinet.

Friend, knowing your tastes I believe that you'd be just as happy with a chopped and modified version. (A model kit designed by Tom Daniel, from my long ago youth.) http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/grinser/grinning-smiley-003.gif

EDIT: Ooops...my apologies, since I initially did not realize this is actually based upon a Mack truck. http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/smileys/free-ashamed-smileys-721.gif (http://www.easyfreesmileys.com/Free-Ashamed-Smileys/)

Now that's the right idea.... Except I'd have a full bed on the back of the truck and not a flatbed. Gotta have a place to put the ice to keep those kegs cold.

And then mount the tap right on the dash, and we're in business

Look once again at the image. To the driver's immediate right, there is a tapped keg already in place. :beers8:

Shit... totally missed that. Kinda hard to hide from the cops though. Not that I would drive drunk, but I think that would probably violate the "open container" laws.

But that's why God made seatcovers.

Still not as crazy as what a friend of mine did back in the day. He had a 74 Vega with a 327 engine in it (a miracle in and of itself) and he sterilized the windshield wiper fluid tank, took the tubing out of the wipers, ran them through the dash, and filled the tank with Bacardi 151, so he could mix rum & cokes on the road. It was fucking genius, in a batshit crazy sort of way. :bottle:

That's funny...

I've heard the same urban myth...

Not the 327 Vega part, i've seen more than one V8 hot rod Vega...

I assure you, it was no myth. As for the 327.... you got that car up to about 80 MPH and you thought you were driving over a suspension bridge in a 7.5 earthquake. Way too much horsepower for that little frame to handle.
