Bill O’Reilly is a knee-jerk blowhard with the critical thinking skills of a five-year-old up past his bed-time, so dismantling his arguments is like shooting fish in a barrel. But when a crazy fish is the most-watched fish in the barrel and wields an inordinate amount of influence with the other fish, even fish in other barrels (what?), then it’s time to reexamine the gun-control laws in your barrels.

Unfortunately, we see it all too much from both sides and everything in between. "News" sure isn't what it once was. Might as well just enjoy TMZ. At least they make no bones about it.

With everyone going for ratings with extreme reporting, left or right spin, tabloid crap, or comedy, it puts a much greater burden on us, the average citizen, to dig through all the bullshit and find out what's really going on. It takes a fairly motivated person nowadays to educate themselves.
