Brilliant actor. The Wrestler is a great flick ...
Best acceptance speach of all time.
He's right about Eric Roberts. He's top notch. 10 times better than his horse faced over rated sister!

y'see, if they'd given him the Oscar, how much more entertaining would that show have been?

LOL!!!

Classic!!

Probably the best acceptance speech ever.

Oh and I concur about Eric Roberts. Dude is a great actor.

He played a good, yet small, part as a mafia gangster in The Dark Knight.

Yes, Rourke is a bit eccentric, but one helluva actor who has appeared in more than a few films I still enjoy years later.

Much more than I can say for the likes of Brad Pitt (who, to be fair, has been in several good films), George Clooney or Hugh Jackman.

That was great.

He should have won the Oscar just for that speech.

That way we wouldn't have had to sit through lame ass Sean Penn kissing gay people's asses.

I actually think that Rourke is the best actor of his generation - if he hadn't gone off the rails, he might have had a body of work to put him up there with the greats........

Brad Pitt never realized his potential - seems that the guy is hindered by how good looking he is, it seems to limit the roles he's offered. When he does get a curve ball (Fight Club), he does a good job.

What is it with these morons who think you have to hold the mic, or it won't work?

I think they're so used to people taking them away mid-sentence, they grab it with dear life.

:gulp:

What is it with these morons who have pointless observations?

I mean except for those morons whose lives are so empty they have nothing better to do than accrue thousands of posts on a DLR message board?

And think they're cool while they're doing it?

Hmmmm....let me see who that might be.
