Dumbfucks ever heard of a jack? We never try to pull stuck vehicles out. Always jack 'em up, shovel the holes in, let more air out , and drive them out.

I wish I'd been able to take video of some of the ones I've see the tide take. The tide actually lifts them up and pushes them around.

When I go in for my beach sticker this year I'll have to take some pictures of the pictures they have on the wall at the beach office. There's some nice ones of the tide breaking over a couple of trucks.

I wish I'd been able to take video of some of the ones I've see the tide take. The tide actually lifts them up and pushes them around.

No kidding. I was driving a truck on a dirt road covered in snow and it hit a muddy spot and sunk down to the frame in mud. You have to break the suction on the vehicle and you also have to pull it straight. I could have gotten that Jeep out with some patience and a Hi Lift jack. They would have been better off pulling it from the back instead of further into the mud.

These are great! At first I was a bit whoa jeepers! But if ya do the riding ya got to expect something might happen sometime.

One summer day ... got my jeep stuck! Big John pullled me out! The suction from the mud flattened three tires! Good ol' Fair Warning days!!

That's what I'm talking about. It adds a little urgency to the shoveling when you know there's a nine foot tide coming in an hour.....

Here's a story from a day in my life! I guess I should say a night in my life!

Me and some buds, meaning friends with buds both green and the bubbly kind, was cruising south on Daytona beach! It's about midnight! I'm driving along in my brand new custom 1979 Ford Courier mini pickup! As we are preceding the population on the beach is getting a lil sparse! I am also noticing that the hard wet sand we was driving on has become about 15 feet below the actual soft sand to my right! In other words the tied was out and we was about 20 ft. below sea level! I say datum we got to get turned around here. Looks like we've left the drivable Daytona area and made it to the sugar sand, unrivaled, area of Cocoa beach! I know we will sink if we stop! So I try to make a large U turn only to ... well sink into the sand!
We proceed to a nearby condo construction site to "borrow" plywood and make a "road"! Security flashlights find us and call the cops who call my parents who make the 45-mile track at midnight to once again get me out of the fix I found myself in! I was 16! Truck full of empties ... thee sheets to the wind!! Cops tell my dad "You got about an hour to get that truck off the beach or it will never be seen again!" He kindly overlooked my condition figuring I was in enough trouble! Well with the help of a tow truck my arse was saved again! I still have that $50 receipt for the wenching here in my pile of memorabilia!
This ends my story and possible my longest post ever!
