What's with this trend of ukelele's and the toy piano sound in the commercials?

I especially notice it in insurance commercials. Any take note (sic) of it?

One's an insurance commercial on heavy rotation, the other's one with just a uke and some stoned chick la la la'ing.

I see what the trend is:

The queer music's always for some unclear concept, for an insurance pitch for GE managed healthcare, or about pushing a vague notion that cap and trade concepts in taxation are going to Green the earth and this is pathetic.

The Save the Earth hippies of the 70s are reaching for it this time..

I wonder if Hillary owns stock in GE or Geico.. since mandatory healthcare is gonna make both go thru the roof.
