I don't remember it. It is nice. It fits with other stuff I like such as Modern Opera(English language), Al Stewart and talking books

I recorded it off the radio in Panama City Florida when I was 13 and never knew who it was until recently...

Always loved it...

This sounds like someone was listening to some early Bowie records, and then tried to do the worst impersonation possible. And without a band like the Spiders from Mars, no less.

Wow! I don't think I have ever seen that clip or a live performance of that song or a live performance of him that wasn't somewhat recent or recent.
That is some incredible string work. And I can listen to him convey historical events all day long.

Think I'll put this album on~

Hmmm...

I kinda thought you might like it...

It was pretty popular on the Rock station in Panama City in 1979 when I recorded it...

I remember missing the beginning and waiting for it to be played again to catch the whole song, never knowing who it was...

It was actually my younger brother who found it after searching for about a year, before the days of YouTube...

I think he found it on the Library Of Congress website after trying various lyric searches...

Apparently lots of people were trying to figure out who it was after he started to post it at various sites...

The band garfield is from Canada and had three albums, but info is still scarce...

I was hoping you might know something about them...

Give it another listen dude...
