Iggy Pop planning on a White Christmas

Iggy Pop is giving Christmas classics a punk rock makeover - he is planning to release a record of holiday tunes.

The Stooges frontman has embraced a new musical direction in recent months with an album of jazz cardigan standards already in the works.

And at 62, he insists he's finally ready to get into the holiday spirit with a rock 'n' roll version of his fans' favourite Christmas songs.

He tells Relix magazine: "I am a real threat to cover White Christmas this year. I'm warning you now: I'm ready, cocked and loaded."

Comon I would understand this from a US person but how could you have misse dthe huge sellout he has done over here already - the adverts are everywhere.
