I find it deplorable to include David Bowie in this segment...

He may have gotten high a few times in the 70's, but show me any written or visual proof of him being wasted or using hard drugs, or even alcohol...

Actually, Bowie had a major coke problem in the mid 70's. And I say that as a serious fan of his work.

Also, when Bowie and Iggy Pop were hanging out they were both doing heroin, according to Iggy. File this in the for what it's worth file.

Yeah, Bowie has spoken repeatedly that he can't remember making 'Station To Station' because he was so fucked up on coke.

As for Shane McGowen - eh, way too easy of a target.
