I'm looking forward to this.....

Link - New Jimmy Page Film Trailer Released (http://www.planetrock.com/news-090609-5.htm)

A new trailer for the film It Might get Loud, which focuses on the guitar styles of Jimmy Page, Bono and Jack White, has been released.

It Might Get Loud is a unique look at the differing styles of the three iconic guitarists, putting them in a room together to swap stories and, indeed, riffs. It also follows the three guitarists as they talk about learning their instruments, following them to some influential locations.

Jimmy Page returns to the stone halls of Headley Grange where ‘Stairway to Heaven’ was composed, we visit a haunting Tennessee farmhouse where Jack White writes a song on-camera, and eavesdrop inside the dimly lit Dublin studio where The Edge lays down initial guitar tracks for U2’s most recent album.

It Might Get Loud is directed by David Guggenheim, who was responsible for environmental doc An Inconvenient Truth, and is due for release later this year.

In the meantime, take a look at this pretty great trailer:

Looks interesting. Jack is hardly an icon though. Page, definately. Edge, I'll buy that. But not Jackie boy and his plastic guitars.

I'll stake a claim for Jack White, yes he's a bit too clever at times but he respects the blues and has a lot of feeling in his playing. I'll take him over the twiddlers any day. Give a listen to this...

Agree 100%, Jack rocks!

His slide playing is awesome, the guy totally owns the stage.

Live he reminds me of Iommi, huge sound, killer riffs.

A new breed of guitar hero for the 21st century.

Great slide solo at 3.10.

The September Guitar World has a lengthy interview with Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White. You can read six pages of it here (http://www.guitarworld.com/article/it_might_get_loud_pump_up_the_volume).
