Oh, man.

This must be the most jaenious shit I've ever seen. I'm totally a fan of Dancing Kim, now.

This has got to be an hoax. Someone's making fun of 80's dances, and doing it beautifully.

Go, Dancing Kim. And c'mere, you sexy mama.

Oh, I would. Oh! I would.

Cheers! :bottle:

That's pretty funny. I need to video it, but my kids and all the kids at the sitter do the Thriller dance. It's a riot.

Ok, a couple of updates. There is yet to be born someone who'll make a fool of ol' uncle Sylicker. It IS an hoax, but don't let that dicourage you. Keep believing - I will - it's funnier that way.

Anyway, an article deleted from Wikipedia: Deleted from Wikipedia - Kim Wood (dancer) (deleted 21 Aug 2008 at 23:12) - Deletionpedia (http://deletionpedia.dbatley.com/w/index.php?title=Kim_Wood_(dancer)_(deleted_21_Aug_ 2008_at_23:12))

Reason:

The truthfulness of this article has been questioned.
It is believed that some or all of its content might constitute a hoax.
Please add reliable sources for the claims in the article or comment on the article's talk page.

Arseholes. Let Dancing Kim exist, you uptight bitches! Just like Facebook, they allow her existence!

Yes, she's on Facebook:

Here's her background/life story from Facebook:

Dancin' Kim: THE LIFE OF DANCIN' KIM | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=85713201830&ref=mf)

And a resume? Not sure what this is, looks like some sort of... resume? CV? Not VD, mind you. CV.

KIMBERLY WOOD - Resume | (http://resumes.breakdownexpress.com/235134-1456916)

Here's the site that started it:

In my opinion, this is one of the best spoofs ever. And what's more, Dancing Kim is beautiful! We all know what Binnie would do, but I'd hit him to stop him on his tracks and hit it first. I mean, she can teach me how to dance! 80's style!

Zombie claw! Wooo. Scary!

Cheers! :bottle:

Rumours and death
Kim’s relentlessly upbeat personality and immense energy led to rumours about rampant drug use, but friends and relatives of Kim insist to this day that the rumours are not true, one famously saying “Believe it or not, Kim’s just high on life”. 'Dancin’ Kim' seemed headed for major stardom both as a dancer and as a television presenter. However, her life was tragically cut short at the age of 24, when she was killed in a freak accident at the Mecklenberg County Fair, where she was giving an aerobics demonstration. A metal clamshell-shaped car became disengaged from its moorings on a Tilt-A-Whirl ride, striking Kim as she was demonstrating.

Re-release of video footage
Though Kim's television show was aired widely, no recordings were known of for some time. All of the tapes of 'Totally Rad Dances' were believed to be lost, until November 2006, when a box containing old VHS tapes of 'Dancin’ Kim’s' show were discovered in the basement of an abandoned house in St. Louis. They have since become widely circulated on sites such as YouTube and AOL, with some being shown exclusively on VideoJug.

LMAO!!!

This has got to be a hoax....

In 1986, Kim volunteered to be a local organizer for the Hands Across America event. However, when she learned that path of the cross-country human chain wasn't going anywhere near North Carolina, Kim organized her own local version, Hands Across The James K. Polk National Landmark.

No it isn't. Yes it is. But yes, it isn't. Get it? ;)

Anyway, she IS 23-25, just like in those videos, so that part's true. She HAS appeared in some dance videos, for Pink, for example, so that part is also true.

Steel Panther's glam rock is dominating the scene, just like in the 80's, so the timeframe seems to be somewhat adjusted as well.

And she hasn't so much died, as just quit that job, which is, for her employers the equivalent of dying.

Catch my drift? Like, totally awesome, dude!

Cheers! :bottle:
