Tremendous driving

I don't usually watch these cop chase things on TV but I came across this one and the perps driving is brilliant. They never mention that on those shows how often the criminal is a much better driver than the cops.

Plus it was just a stolen car yet the cops repeatedly endanger the lifes of other road users especially towards the end. I would lock up the cops...

Dude, I hate assholes that run from the cops as well as aggressive cops -as both endanger innocent people. But, 1:10 and 1:19 in the Tube are just brilliant driving...

The perp definitely handled himself well for a while though, especially if it was a stolen car he wasn't really familiar with. Usually you have to "know" a car before you try shit like that.

They have a law in Oz where if the chase looks like
it will become dangerous, its called off !
They figure the collateral damage is not worth the
trouble. They normally blow the dudes tyres out
upstream without harming anyone...

That bump tactic is cool, I can think of a few people that
cut me off that I would have liked to employ that little
manouver !

The bump technique is always seen on these videotaped pursuits, but usually if the cop tags a car good enough to send it into a high speed donut, they don't manage to drive out of it. Let alone multiple times. They probably should have pulled back the pursuit at that time and set up either a roadblock or some spike strips a little further down the road. (Less risk to the other drivers on the road that way)

Not excusing what the douchebag did or anything, but I think when you run a guy off the highway at high speed, roll his vehicle three times and he gets thrown from the vehicle onto the gravel, he's down. Well executed police work up until that point.
