I just don't like the whole idea of a torrent site that only allows a certain number of people to join. Very annoying. :hitch: And usually way too slow.

I don't like the idea of having a DVR/CVH boot forum, and then having a mod that does nothing at all with it.

Hang your head in shame cato LOL

DIME has gone downhill ever since they got spooked by the RIAA lawyers, and stopped allowing any content except for shitty quality audience recordings. You never find live soundboards and rarely decent DVD's over there anymore. And any bootlegged studio stuff? Forget about it.

Yes it is still there with Brett running it. Dokken Dude & Ron are still around a little bit, but most of the people there now are new. It is 90% 80s hairband shit.

After LOU left, all the new CVH shows (audio) left with him.

Really the only decent VH in the last few years was Toronto 79 & St Paul 80 over at VHT. After that nada.

Sure DIME is pretty average now, but back a few years back when everybody here was sucking down 100's of shows, no one was complaining.

It is what it is. A huge public site with decent audio and video. Still plenty of soundboards & proshots.

Most that collect seriously have gone to private trackers.

I got pretty burned out a few years back after collecting VH, Zep, Ozzy, Metallica & Megadeth. Now I got 100s of cds & dvds in binders that won't be watched again for years..... Already tossed all the VHS from the 80s/90s.

I got real burned out on collecting bootlegs. A few months ago I tried logging into dime after a long hiatus and they must have deleted my name due to inactivity... oh well.

I'm thinking that when the kids get back in school I might go through my collection and start getting rid of a lot of the stuff I know I'll never watch. I have 2 huge rubbermaid containers filled with spindles and spindles of cdr's and dvd's. It was fun at the time and it kept me out of trouble, but now... bleh, whatever!

After DDLR.com went dead he just left all the Vh fourms. I am sure a few people here still talk to him once in a while off line.

I guess I am not the only one with the big rubbermaid container in the garage. I did bring in a binder or 2 of dvds.

He would never sink so low as to post here or at the links. I guess he just said fuck it. Cant say I blame him.
