This has reached the tipping point now in the last week where it's time to get the fuck out.

1) The president we are propping up has just passed a law that married women can be beaten or starved to death if they don't have sex with their husbands.

2) The turnout in the election this week in areas like Helman province was less than 10%

3) The production of heroin is now 800% higher since we got there.

4) There is no conceivable win or exit strategy


This war is completely pointless. I wouldn't sacrifice one more single life on this nonsense.

Stay the course. We need to liberate these backwards fuckers. They want democracy, and it's our responsibility to give it to them... Even if we go bankrupt doing it.

3) Maybe that's why they didn't show up to vote in Helmand...they're all in the drug trade and had to get the crops in. Or they were collectively too fucked up to find the polls.

4)Any "exit strategy" that consists of having your burning corpse catapulted through the front of a Boeing as it plows through a building should have and was dealt with...and very rightfully so.

They DON'T want democracy, knucklehead...they've already had it. Afghanistan has had just about every type of government known to man. Nothing will ever take there for a long period of time without some sort of conflict.
