Watched a show last night on the History Channel called Day After Disaster. It's an indepth look at worst case scenarios if Washington DC were hit by a nuclear bomb. A good portion of the program was info supplied by the department of Homeland Security.

It not only covers local logistics, but the eye openers were details of plans that started back in the Eisenhower administration up thru Bush's plan changes and actual execution during 9/11.

Appears Regan's plan changes were the most controversial... many aspects are still in place...

It re-airs On Sunday Oct 4 at 6pm ET on the History Channel.
