Ok, this just struck me. Follow me on this, it's really good.
Climate's changing, right? And it's getting warmer, yeah?
Now suppose, just suppose, that someday, the Earth will actually be too hot for man to survive in it under natural circumstances.
Man believes he is to blame for this change. So we'll do our best to try & stop it. And we'll get rid of highly polluting machines, deodorants, fridges, cars, air conditioners, etc...
But suppose the climate change doesn't stop, even after we got rid of all our machines.
So it wasn't really our fault, and instead of trying to develop technology that would actually enable us to survive this natural cycle of the Earth, we did all we could to stop it, and lost all chance of survival in the process.
Now, wouldn't that be incredibly funny & ironic?
How's that for a joke, eh?
