I posted about this before sure that Ozzy was pulling a Milli Vanilli miming.

Now using a great little internet tool you can watch him and his whole band fake it.

TWOYOUTUBEVIDEOSANDAMOTHERFUCKINGCROSSFADER.COM (http://www.twoyoutubevideosandamotherfuckingcrossfader.co m/#ElXrqfury8k/KqgQIB8EWEI)

Start the window on the left and then at 17 seconds start the window on the right. You can then fade between the two. Same tape used for both supposedly live performances.

Notice the sophistication of the Sharon machine these days. If you look really closely all the drums and amps are miked up, even the fucking keyboards have cables coming from them and they have recorded a different version of the song from the album with a bit more reverb to make it sound live.

Obviously Ozzy fans might suspect he is miming because he's in tune but most people wouldn't realise it is the whole band.

Fuck this.

Here they are faking again at the WWE Smackdown although I guess that audience is used to it... :)

Start at about 4 seconds this time.

Lip-syncing on a show like "Smackdown" certainly wouldn't be considered unusual, but if that's the norm every show...:umm: Though it might explain why Gus G sounds like the biggest Zakk clone EVAH....:hee:

I think there is some footage somewhere of the tour where Ozzy is singing like a goose farting in the fog so I'm hopeful that they only mimed in some selected appearances. It's not standard miming though in it's sophistication and was sold as being definitely live.

In the first clip on that show artists usually do play live.

I think...

It's getting very difficult to know what you're getting these days. I love to hear mistakes these days. No doubt the next thing will be recording deliberate mistakes.

What is most diabolical is that he thought he could get away with that shit in today`s multimedia world.

Everyone takes their phones to concerts these days so every show is bootlegged, like, at least a hundred times.

Oddly enough, the practice makes certain sense in some situations. When Whitney Houston lip synced her Star Spangled Banner performance for the Super Bowl, you could understand that since it is a difficult song to convey in a live setting, for performance sake (amidst some 90 million viewers) the networks would endorse this sort of thing. And when you think about it, it is fairly expedient for both the performer and the tv show, as the results are guaranteed.

But it still kicks any sort of credibility right out the window, particularly for a so-called rock band. I mean come on, this is literally what "going through the motions" means. :duh:

Rite on, Mr. Badguy.

It's always a spine-chilling moment in every Wrestlemania.

Cheers! :bottle:

Who's really surprised?

I had hopes that maybe they'd give Gus some room to reinvigorate the music, but obviously $haron's not going to let that happen, so...fuck it - stick a fork in him, he's done.
