So is blueretard for not posting the article...

UPDATE (http://www.tmz.com/2009/12/15/brian-setzer-collapses-in-concert-hospitalized/): A rep for Setzer tells TMZ "Brian Setzer was briefly hospitalized in Albuquerque, NM last night after a combination of dehydration, high altitude, and vertigo made him unable to continue his performance at the Isleta Casino after several songs. Setzer has completely recovered and will perform tonight."

Brian Setzer has been discharged from a New Mexico hospital after reportedly collapsing during a concert last night.

According to KOB.com, Setzer -- leader of the Brian Setzer Orchestra -- was two songs into his set at the Isleta Casino when he walked off stage appearing "shakey" ... and immediately collapsed off-stage.

TMZ has learned Setzer was rushed to Heart Hospital of New Mexico -- but he's since been discharged.

Setzer is set to perform in Phoenix, AZ tonight -- so far, that show is still set to go on as planned.

I hope he gets well to enjoy his Christmas as well.

A man that still hit big even going solo from a group. Not many do that.

I was at the US Festival when the Stray Cat's played. They were awsome and Setzer and the boys had 300,000 people rocking to the rehtro vintage magic. It was pretty cool.

Setzer is only underrated as a guitar player by non guitar players IMO.

He's like guitar George...he knows all the chords.

I'm glad it was just dehydration....an IV, a slap on the ass, and you're good.

I've always wondered about Setzer and did he really play on the first record?

I'd asked Slim Jim about that, "Don't talk to me bout that shit man, I hate that guy." 15 years ago, getting gas cross street from the Whiskey.. because I had seen some clip on cable back then, Setzer's playing dressed up New Wave with the beginnings of a Pompadour haircut cropping out, but he's playing a Strat looking thing with a Floyd trem and with half the facility or suaveness of the record.

Dont' get me wrong, LOVED the first record. I was all over it when it came out. I just have this suspicion it's not him on the record. And yes I have seen the Setzer orchestra, they played a Gretch party we crashed at NAMM over a decade ago.

But, I don't like New Yawkehs. And would was I supposed to say to him anyway "hey tell me the truth, you didn't play on your own record didja now" that's like, fighting words and I didn't want to be a dick so I didn't say shit to him.

"And would was?"

You're an idiot! Setzer played on the first and every following album!

Setzer definitely played on all the Stray Cats records. Typical idiocy from GAyR

Have to admit I definitely prefer the stripped down rockabilly trio to the big Vegas band shit he's doing now. 50's revivalism I can deal with. 40's revivalism, not so much.

On the other hand, I liked the "Phantom Rocker and Slick" album too, where Bowie's guitar player took Setzer's place.

They also had a song called "My Mistake" with Keith Richards, but the sound on that video is too fucked up to even bother posting up in here

Steve, DO NOT go to this show. And DO NOT try to rape him in the parking lot!

He' going to be okay. Yay! :baaa:

Without a doubt, the best concert I ever seen was Setzer and his orchestra. The guy absol-fucking-loutely rocks so if you ever get the opportunity to see him DO IT.
