I'm a Dudeist - an ordained priest, no less - but I keep forgetting it.

Which I believe makes me a GRATE Dude Priest. Or Priest Dude, whatever.

Every now & then, however, the good folks at Dudeism.com - The Church of the Latter-Day Dude (http://www.dudeism.com/) send me a reminder to my e-mail, keeping me up to date with the going ons at the Church of the Latter Day Dude.

And today, because I checked my e-mail today, I received one such e-mail.

One that inspired me to spread the word.

Really, I have no idea when I was ordained.

I think I saw a link to the Dudeism.com site here at the Army, but I can't remember exactly.

You can, too. Granted, you don't get payed... but you don't do anything, either. Unless you feel like it.

Well, I'm not sure about that, but you can get a Letter of Good Standing here (http://www.dudeism.com/store.html).

Here's what they say about it:

Letter of Good Standing
Often required by the local authorities

In order to allow you to perform priestly duties (marriages, etc.), some U.S. State governments require a letter of good standing attesting to the fact that you are in fact an ordained minister.
Personalized, signed and embossed.

So, I guess you can be tax-exempt. At least the money you earn performing priestly duties, as you can't really declare that for tax purposes, can you?
