Their last names are Laurel and Hardy but there is nothing funny about the drug charges against them.

Police in Luzerne County said Carlos Laurel and Andre Hardy of Dupont dropped off 50 bags of cocaine worth $2,500 at a home in Kingston. Investigators said Hardy is on federal parole for a previous drug charge.

I can't remember the last time I saw Laurel & Hardy on TV here.

I think it was about 2005/2006 on BBC 2. For a few years they would show them in the mornings on bank holidays and at Christmas and such.

I got impatient waiting for them to start showing them again and ended up buying a 21-disc Box Set of all the surviving Hal Roach-era films for about £60 from HMV.

In fact, I just looked out of interest and its now down to £40...
