One of the best albums of 2004 was Shatner's Has Been. I'm not kidding. It featured performances by Brad Paisley, Adrian Belew, Henry Rollins, Aimee Mann and Ben Folds, who also produced.

This is a cover of Pulp's "Common People" from that album, performed as a duet with Joe Jackson.

I got that CD. It is VERY good. Sure it should be categorized as a spoken word album, but he wrote all the lyrics. The song "What Have You Done?" is extremely sad, as it deals with his discovery of his wife drowned in their pool.

Shat is something else. I have a lot of respect for him.

Love Star Trek, Love Original Capt Kirk (Shatner) Love the Beatles....

So its all good ??

LSD is one of those songs that makes you feel you are uder the influence
of a drug, even when sober. I trip just listening to that..
Add capt Kirk and its like a mushroom flashback after a particularly
strong bong.

The Shat is so smooth he should have made numerous appearances on Soul Train as guest host years ago.:hitch:

I can see him introduce the song then join the line. yeahhhh

Back in the day, my mother made me a William Shatner's uniform shirt, just like the yellow one in the original Star Trek series. I wore it at school, for a dress up day PENKKARIT. I also dyed my hair brown and wore black pants and black shoes.

I was 18 then! I still have it...I must post a photo...To boldly go...
