Eddie Trunk's site posted some photos of Jake playing live at a bar in Vegas. He looks pretty good. Doesn't look like he is the worse for wear.

You never know...someone just may have stuck a cellphone in his face, and captured that moment for posterity. Yeah, it does give off that "semi-Tommy Bolin" look, yet you really can read far too much into a hastily snapped image.

It's also fairly crummy reporting. Nothing new is learned, as the article merely rehashes some old news.

Here's an idea: Along with some crappy photos of a guy jamming to a tune in a club, how's about interviewing him? Nah, couldn't be done. All Trunk could come up with is the headline about photos "surfacing", after some guy sent them along.

Jake is mentioned like twice in Ozzy's autobiography....and nothing specifically other than he joined the band, then left. I'll always love ozzy, but he and Sharon are fuckin' assholes. No newsflash there.

Nice to see Jake...too bad he's all but vanished. I'm hoping the meth thing is a myth. I heard somewhere he was doing J-Pop.
Saw him with Ozzy twice. Once on the Bark at the Moon/ Shout at the Devil tour @ the Boston Garden, the other on the Ultamite Sin/ Master of Puppets tour @ the Worcester Centrum.
He absolutely smoked both times, of course Metallica owned that show. The Ozzy troupe were deep into the spangles & mousse phase, and Jake got pulled into the crowd during I Don't Know:hee:
He was mad fuckin' pissed, to say the least...
I miss the guy...he got all that shit done with a hardtail. Ozzy still has yet to find someone who could nail the outro solo on BATM:umm:
